Clare has over 30 years international business experience and offers clients extensive commercial acumen with experience in both operating and consulting businesses.

She has a specialist financial services and CFO placement track record, in addition to placing leaders in most every sector of New Zealand business. This is drawn from over 20 years in Executive Search with international and local firms, preceded by 15 years in banking and accounting roles with Barclays Bank PLC in London and New Zealand, S C Johnson & Son and Air New Zealand.

In 2003, the boutique search company, Clare Wade Consulting, was set up to offer highly competitive Executive Search, Recruitment solutions and flexible advice for clients in New Zealand and Australia, be they listed, privately owned, or in local government.

Previous years as a Partner with TMP global Search and a Principal with Korn/Ferry involved assisting Boards and CEO’s to find business leaders.

Overall sector consulting experience is extremely wide and spans Banking/Finance, Manufacturing, Recycling, bio-technology, Science, Healthcare, Agriculture & Horticulture export, Logistics, Energy & Water Infrastructure, Telecommunications & Industrial/Consumer Goods companies.

Clare holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Auckland University and is an American Field Service returnee. Corporate Social Responsibility consulting extends to philanthropic entities involving child development and palliative care.
